Danyon Hume wins at Perry Barr Speedway

Birmingham rider, Danyon Hume, has made an impressive start to his 2016 season.

Danyon Hume won for the Surestop Brummies at Perry Barr in Birmingham in front of the home crowd. Racing against his former club, Rye House, Hume was also very satisfied with a third place in one of the heats, against a very strong line up.

The young, 19 year old Buckinhamshire rider is sponsored by Chiltern Technology Ltd. Graham Johnson, MD of the company commented, “We are passionate about encouraging young, local talent. Danyon has shown great skill and courage in the career he has chosen to pursue and we are happy to be supporting him.”

Hume is part of the Birmingham team making a bid for the annual speedway competition, the National League Knockout Cup. The Birmingham squad have started well and have their sights on winning the next round away at Rye House; a track Hume knows well. Chiltern Technology Ltd and the Surestop Brummies will be hoping he continues his winning streak and wish him and the team the very best.
